Bianca Correa

My name is Bianca. I am a Bioregional Folk Herbalist, Ceremonialist, Earth & Plant steward, Body-Worker, & Mystic. My craft weaves the connection between plants, the cosmos, the land, & people. I am excited about folklore, story-telling, mythic medicine, & animistic ways. I am based in the majestic Mountains of Taos, located in Northern New Mexico.

I spend most of my time tending the land, community weaving, preparing plant medicines through the alchemical tradition, & reclaiming lost & forgotten ways. I believe in reclaiming the old & wise woman's ways through earth-based healing. My mission in this life is to educate, assist, & support those in reclaiming lost, ancestral, dormant, & mythic ways through revitalizing their connection to the natural & otherworlds. The most profound healing & transformation can occur when we reawaken our connection to the natural rhythms & cycles of the year, spirits & kinfolk of the land, & learn to perceive through the lens of the heart.

Last year, I had the honor of vending for the first time at this wonderful gathering. I was deeply inspired by all the beautiful women and teachers there and felt called to apply to teach this upcoming year.

This class will focus on the uses, folklore, and making of Agua de Florida, an ancient cleansing & protection remedy traditionally used in Central and South American countries.

Mythic Medicine, The wisdom of Seasonal Allies, Herbs of Leo: 1.5 hour, Adults, All Levels
This class will focus on the mythic medicine journeys I teach in northern New Mexico at my apothecary. this will have a focus on Astro herbalism, the energetics of summer and the archetype of the mother.

Plant Alchemy; Intro into Spagyrics & Herbal Magic: 1.5 hour, Adults, All Levels
This class with explore the foundations of spagyrics, a brief history of alchemy, & how to practice alchemical herbalism
