Laura Cascardi

Laura’s passion for herbalism, healing, and well-being is evident in her 20 + years of working with herbs and people. She began her formal education with herbs at the Rocky Mountain Center of Botanical studies where she graduated in 2001 as a certified herbalist. In 2013, she graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Botany. In 2014, Laura founded the Equinox Center of Herbal Studies where she is the director and one of the primary teachers. Laura loves coupling her herbal knowledge with her botanical expertise, and as a longtime resident of Colorado, she is extremely familiar with local flora and hosts herb walks focusing on edible and medicinal uses of local plants. 


Laura has a love for teaching and creating equity in herbalism by offering a community space and workshops welcome to all. She focuses on exploring herbalism through all the senses and believes that hands-on experience is the essence of understanding the magic and medicine the plant world offers. She accents healing through the emotional, physical and spiritual levels to create gentle and accessible wholeness. Her authenticity and openness shines brightly, inviting a wide range of skill levels from all walks of life to participate in their healing journey.

Laura Cascardi and Shaela Noella are excited to join forces and share a nurturing, and informative workshop. Blessings that support our Breast Health! Laura will start us off with the inner workings of our anatomy, and herbs in the first half. Shaela will share some topics of energetics, and sounds. We will conclude guiding you through a self-care (optional) massage practice that can be done clothed or topless.

Herbal Hair Care - 1.5 hr, Adults, All Levels
There are many ways to take small steps away from toxic chemicals, and ditching the shampoo is one of those ways! Lets explore herbs and techniques for cleaning, softening and encouraging hair growth through using simple methods preserving our natural oils. This hands-on workshop will discuss the ins and outs of leaving the chemical laden shampoos and conditioners behind while using easily accessible, all natural methods for hair care.
